This Mother's Day, we're honored to celebrate Ruth Springer Wedgworth, a woman whose strength, vision, and resilience helped shape the legacy behind Summit Nutrients.

Ruth was more than a farmer. She was a pioneer. After arriving in Belle Glade, Florida, in 1930 with her husband Herman, she played an important role in building a future for agriculture in the Everglades. When tragedy struck, Ruth stepped forward with determination and turned challenges into opportunity, helping build one of Florida's most respected agricultural legacies.

Generations later, her influence is still felt. Her passion for innovation, commitment to quality, and dedication to nourishing the land continue to inspire what Summit Nutrients stands for today.

We're grateful for the foundation Ruth helped create and the legacy that continues to grow through the Wedgworth family.
